Iowa Pain Institute

The Iowa Pain Institute offers a variety of educational opportunities for its members. We offer journal club meetings, educational seminars, and member support forums on a variety of issues from improving patient care to helping build clinical practices. Our journal club meetings constitute the central core of the IPI. At these monthly meetings members hear presentations on cutting edge health care research in all areas of pain management.

The IPI is not a restrictive organization. We are actively recruiting any health care professionals with an interest in pain management. Our membership currently includes a wide variety of disciplines and sub-specialties. Are current membership includes surgeons, psychologists, psychiatrists, physical therapists, physiatrists, pharmacologists pain management physicians, orthopedists, nurses, nurse-practitioners, chiropractors, attorneys, anesthesiologists, alternative healthcare providers, and acupuncturists. Members of these disciplines and any others are welcome.
